Design

Phase one: Analyze, listen, and create.

The design phase consists of research, idea gathering, and planning.

Specifically, the five steps of our design process include:

  1. Conducting a site inventory and analysis,
  2. Determining your needs,
  3. Creating functional diagrams,
  4. Developing conceptual design plans, and
  5. Drawing a final design plan.

The first three steps establish the aesthetic, functional, and horticultural requirements for the design. The last two steps then apply those requirements to the creation of the final landscape plan.

Our landscape plans turn ideas into visuals and ensure that scale and layout have been thought through prior to construction.

“We had a great experience working with DIG. We had a few ideas about what materials we wanted and how we wanted to spend time outdoors, but the way Mike listened and incorporated our ideas and improved on them was amazing. Our outdoor space is an incredible extension of our home thanks to DIG.”
